Our Vrededorp Outreach serves the children of Vrededorp through an after-school homework programme, providing a place of peace and safety where we do discipleship in the park and run a homework centre. Since African Havens were granted Child Protection Organisation status, we expanded our work to include social work interventions, family support services, behavioural modification activities, awareness campaigns and children’s advocacy. Having a local office with two social workers is monumental, enabling us to have a greater impact. All of this happens at a very special place – Sifundise House.
