ABOUT US

Thank you for visiting our website. We are so glad you did. At Every Nation Rosebank, family is important to us. The word “church” in the Bible comes from the Greek word “ekklesia”, which means an assembly of people, not a building. We like to think of church as spiritual family.

You will discover that we are a multi-cultural, multi-generational community of people from many different backgrounds and ethnicities who have been united for one cause – to see lives, communities and society transformed through discipleship in the Word, the Presence and the Power of God. We best describe our core values as Lordship, Word-Based, Spirit-Empowered, Evangelism, Discipleship, Leadership, Family, Socially Responsible, Multi-Cultural and Multi-Generational.

Every Nation Rosebank is a member of a worldwide Every Nation family of churches that exists to honour God and establish Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation. Formerly known as His People, our church has been actively involved in both community and campus ministry in Johannesburg for just under 30 years.

We invite you to contact us. We would love to meet you!

Frequently Asked Questions

I NEED PRAYER. WHERE DO I GO?2017-05-08T11:32:27+02:00

Our ministry teams love praying for people directly after services for any personal needs. We want to believe with you for breakthrough in your areas of need. We also have an emergency prayer line at prayerrbk@enjhb.org

DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?2017-05-08T11:32:23+02:00

We call our small groups Connect Groups. Groups meet across the city at various locations and at various times. There’s a Connect Group to suit everybody, whether you are young or not-so-young, a family or a single young professional or student. There are even Connect Groups for children. Connect Groups help you to do just that – connect with believers. In so doing, you will grow in your own walk with the Lord and learn to reach out to others.

HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?2021-04-28T13:22:12+02:00

Being a disciple means following Jesus, fellowshipping with other believers and fishing for men. We have created a Growth Path to help you live as a disciple of Jesus. We use the One2One book to help you build strong foundations in your faith. Victory Weekend is a course to plant you in freedom, eliminating past difficulties that hinder you from following Jesus fully. We also run Grow Courses on interesting and relevant topics a couple of times a year, where you can choose a course that focusses on an area where you want to grow.

DOES YOUR CHURCH HAVE A YOUTH MINISTRY?2017-05-08T11:32:15+02:00

Encounter Youth meets on the 2nd Floor during the morning services. The youth joins the service for worship and then go up to the 2nd Floor after worship. It is an exciting get-together where high schoolers can be themselves, have fun, connect with other teens and grow as believers. We love having new young people visit.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?2017-05-08T11:32:10+02:00

Every Nation Kids welcomes children with open arms at the start of all our services. It’s a friendly and safe environment for your children, and they will love our fun activities and friendly children’s church workers. Children from 18 months to 9 years of age meet on the 1st Floor and 10 to 13 year olds meet on the 2nd Floor (next to the parking lot). Please sign your children in prior to the start of the service. There is a comfortable Moms Room, as well as a Parents Room where you can take care of younger children while enjoying the service.
