There is an estimated 793 million people suffering from chronic hunger around the world. This translates into 1 in 10 people in the world suffering from a severe lack of food. These numbers do not speak about people who are “just hungry”.

As a church, we have a number of projects and people who are working hard to address this and there are many more who would want to get involved. To this end, we will be hosting a Food Think Tank in October where we will consider various initiatives and projects to see if we can find more synergy in our efforts and whether we can pool individual resources together to have a greater impact in our community.
