Why we give
When we give, it’s not because God needs anything, but because we want to show our love for Him. Giving is an expression of obedience, but also of gratitude, trust and increasing joy.
Our giving is part of our worship to the Lord. “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21). In light of what Christ has done for us, we in turn, desire to give Him our best.
