Want to make a difference in a young person’s life?

Young people across the city are struggling to make study and career choices, and those from orphaned or vulnerable backgrounds typically have gaps in their learning, making their career choices limited.

On 29 November, Home-Base will be presenting a Career Guidance Workshop where we will be inviting local children’s homes from across Gauteng to attend. We are blessed with the help of an Organisational Psychologist. At this workshop, we will do basic career assessments with each learner and expose them to a range of career options and study options. Our aim is to help them see their worth, to give them hope for the future and provide first steps on this journey.

We are looking for volunteers across the career spectrum to share about their careers or to help with the assessments on the day. Training will be done via Zoom early November.
